A Box of Broken Parts
A representation of trauma from childhood abandonment. This type of trauma lingers into adulthood. For many, it is simply too difficult to let it go, like a dusty old box of trinkets you never intend to do anything with, but tuck away again, and again, and again.
Pinning Butterflies
The inability to feel joy for oneself or others while caught in a depressive episode stems from the inability to see beyond our pain. We are consumed by emptiness even when surrounded by beauty.
A Broken Heart Blooms Again
Healing from trauma is a spiritual journey that connects mind, body, and soul. It is often a difficult and never ending process as we must shed all parts of who we were and embrace who we are meant to be. These tears are not for grief, but gratitude, which nourishes continued growth.
