About the Art
Arafrael’s Glamour is a personal work.
This is one of the oldest pieces in my shop. The original illustration, which hangs in my parents' entryway, was a graded project for one of my illustration classes while I was attending art school. We were learning about art styles and how each artist has a unique voice. The class was meant to cultivate our own voices and for this particular project we were asked to create a new piece inspired by one of our favorite artists. I chose Arthur Rackham, whose fairy tale works are legendary.
