Part Trickster, part Rock Star, and entirely David Bowie, this original fantasy watercolor painting is a rare and special item. 'The Goblin King & His Glamour' is my tribute to Bowie, as a fan of his music, the character Jareth he portrayed so perfectly in Labyrinth, and the magic he inspired in me.
Originally a small reward sketch requested by one of my dear Patrons, I decided to print my pencil art out on a full-sized sheet of watercolor paper and bring Jareth to life with color. I refined the lines, and then painted the piece with a combination of coffee (brewed specifically for painting!), watercolors, and a touch of white and sepia toned ink to finish.
Prints, posters, stickers, etc. will not be available for this piece.
This original work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed in irreproducible gold ink.
