One of Hans Christian Andersen's signature bittersweet stories, The Ugly Duckling is a classic fairy tale so many of us find relatable. The pendant to this handmade statement necklace features a miniature Autumn woodland scene from my original watercolor painting, The Ugly Duckling’s Lament.
This pitiful little half grown cygnet will have his happily ever after as Spring will find him soaring with Swans he admires so dearly.

Never launder clothing or bags with this item attached. Clean with a damp cloth. The Ugly Duckling's Lament was one of 6 of my fantasy illustrations to be featured as collectible trading cards in Classic Fairy Tales, a sketch card set released by Perna Studios in 2015.

About my Glass Art Pendants
All necklaces, rings, and keychains are assembled by hand in my little studio. My glass pendants feature a highly detailed miniature art print adhered to a glass cabochon and bezel with an archival glaze. The glass cabochon protects the artwork while creating an eye popping 3-D effect!
